]Write a detailed in-canon backstory how your character obtained these authorizations]: Jason Nathaniel Wolf was born in Canada on February 1st, 1987 to his mother: Keisha and Jonathan Wolf. For the majority of his life, Jason lived primarily with his busy mother; as his father would always be concentrated with his work as a Drill Sergeant for the Canadian Armed Forces. Usually bickering with his mother over grades or school-work, Jason spent most of his time with his peers; who constantly used him to accomplish their own desires. However, when Jason turned fourteen; his mother was diagnosed with breast cancer—living around another month before fatefully passing away.

Returning home, Jason then lived with his father; Jonathan, who also bickered with his son for being loose and easy going. Constantly at each other’s throats; Jason got used to a life of living primarily on the streets to avoid contact with his father. These arguments were constant over the two years that Jason lived with his father. During one of these arguments, Jonathan eventually decided that it was time for Jason to leave; kicking his son out of his house for good and onto the streets. Serving as a local bar tender for the next few years; Jason eventually found new hope in joining one of his countries defenses: the Canadian Air Force. Interested, and with his father’s occupation as a Drill Sergeant; Jason joined the Air Force around the age of 20.

Going through basic and advanced training, Jason was constantly scolded by his superiors for his lain-back attitude and his tendency to talk back to superior officers. Barely passing Boot Camp, Jason was nearly immediately court marshaled after constantly disobeying orders and talking back to the Captain that attended to the fort Jason served at. Back onto the streets; Jason took his time to familiarize himself as a Mercenary, which he grew to like as many offers were extended to join various Militia’s around the world.

At the age of 23; when the first signs of the fungus infection appeared around Southern United States, Jason had just barely made it to the east in attempt to find work. Being re-directed to ‘Quarantine Zone’ supervised by the US Armed Forces. Barely capable of smuggling one of his weapons and equipment through the safety check; Jason was forced to leave most of his armory behind when he reached the city where he would spend most of his life. Spending most of his time quiet; Jason found it hard to keep his occupation a secret for the next twenty years.

Having many near fatal encounters during the next twenty years; Jason has just barely made it to the age of 43, beginning to wear down from his age and experience. Now faced with the challenges of the new world, he must find work; before someone else finds him.

]List the defects these authorizations will give you]: Age (slowed down to an extent), Semi-Heavy Equipment; unprofessional with Assault, Explosives, and Shotgun weapons, difficulty with socialization, slight mental instability.
]What do you plan to do with these perks/defects and the authorization?]: Well, quite the question you have here. What I plan to do with ‘Redback’ is continue a story of a character which has already become well aged and worn. He’s had a journey before the events of ‘The Last of Us’, which ultimately resulted in Jason becoming a tried and care-free character; no longer believing his choices have consequences in a world already destroyed.

He works a perilous job of working for multiple factions in pursuit despite challenge to find a way of payment, ‘Redback’ constantly puts his life at risk for personal gain or wealth which would possibly be of no matter in this world. Ultimately, he struggles of his age and tiredness to do so; as he is in his early forties. Why he may still offer a fair fight, he may be at times at the strength of his opponent.
